A Personal Welcome from Our Executive Director

Welcome to Lakeview Recovery Community! My name is Lyndsey Hauge, and I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of this remarkable organization. With over 20 years of experience in the field of addiction recovery, I am deeply committed to providing a safe, supportive, and transformative environment for those seeking a new path in life.

My Journey in the Therapeutic Community Model

My roots in the Therapeutic Community (TC) model run deep. I began my career in the United Kingdom, where I had the privilege of operating therapeutic networks across England, Scotland, and Ireland. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the profound impact that community-based treatment can have on individuals struggling with addiction.

The TC model emphasizes the importance of community dynamics and peer support as integral components of the recovery process. It is a holistic approach that considers the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of recovery. I have seen firsthand how this model can foster resilience, build healthy relationships, and facilitate lasting change.

Bringing My Experience to Lakeview

At Lakeview Recovery Community, we have embraced and adapted the TC model to meet the unique needs of our residents. Our Recovery Community Model integrates the core principles of the TC approach with contemporary practices and individualized treatment planning. This combination ensures that each resident receives personalized care that addresses all aspects of their well-being.

A Commitment to Excellence

Our mission at Lakeview is to provide the highest quality of care to individuals seeking recovery. We are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where residents can feel safe, respected, and empowered. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals, including therapists, medical staff, peer support specialists, and recreational therapists, work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and effective treatment.

The Phases of Treatment

Our program is structured into four distinct phases, each designed to support residents through different stages of their recovery journey:

  • Orientation: Focuses on stabilizing residents physically, emotionally, and cognitively while engaging them in the recovery process.

  • Primary Treatment: Involves intensive individual and group therapy sessions, psychoeducation, and the development of coping skills.

  • Community Living: Integrates work as a therapeutic component while continuing structured therapeutic activities.

  • Community Transition & Continuing Care: Prepares residents for reintegration into the community with long-term recovery strategies and a post-program support plan.

Family Involvement

We recognize the critical role that family support plays in the recovery process. At Lakeview, we offer family counseling sessions, educational programs, and scheduled family visits to help families navigate the complexities of addiction and recovery. By involving families in the treatment process, we provide an additional layer of support that is crucial for long-term success.

Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuously evaluating and improving our services to ensure that we provide the highest quality of care. This includes gathering feedback from residents and their families, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices, and engaging in ongoing quality assurance practices.

A Bright Future

As we look to the future, we are excited about the opportunities to expand our services and reach more individuals in need. We are dedicated to building on our strengths, embracing innovation, and continuing to provide a supportive and transformative environment for all who come to Lakeview Recovery Community.

Thank you for choosing Lakeview as your partner in recovery. We are honored to be a part of your journey and are committed to supporting you every step of the way.

Warm regards,

Lyndsey Hauge Executive Director Lakeview Recovery Community
